An Update on Spirit of Revenge!

Hello out there! I haven’t been posting on my blog for a while because I’ve been in the proofreading/rewriting phase of my third book. It took up all my time and my brain got pretty foggy except when writing. And rewriting. And rewriting…..

But at long last, I have news! Spirit of Revenge, the third book in my Disfigured Series, has just gone into production mode for the eBook formatting. For anyone who does not know, I self-publish my books, but I cannot manage the formatting part so that I can upload to Amazon, etc. Fortunately I work with a great company based in Arizona, Booknook.Biz. I recommend them to anyone who self-published and who is like me, a Luddite when it comes to formatting for eBook conversion.

As for the paperback version, I will do that myself via Kindle – they make it a fairly simple process. My only problem is that I usually take 2 years to wrap up a book, and by that time I’ve forgotten how I did it before.

I cannot say for certain how long production will take, but it usually is about a month. I will continue to post updates and will probably do some special promotions on Amazon for the first two books as well. So stay tuned!

I am, by the way, just really excited and happy about how this book has turned out. It’s quite exciting, sexy in a non-graphic way, and wraps up a couple of loose ends from the first book. I have worked hard to keep Erik’s personality intact, and have tried not to change him beyond what might occur to him if he were actually in a secure, loving relationship. He will always be Erik, and I don’t want him to lose that dangerous edge.
